Our Story
Ellie Rose Travel is a family-run business based on the outskirts of East Hull in Saltend.
The company was founded in 2002 by the late James and Sheila Houghton, who established the friendly and reliable service we continue to deliver today.
Their son, Shane Houghton, took over the business bringing industry experience dating back to 1981. In 2018, Shane was joined by his daughter, Ellie Rose, who carries forward the family legacy as part of the next generation of leadership.

With more than 40 years of industry knowledge, we provide Home to School transport for local authorities as well as directly for schools and colleges.
Our fleet of over 40 vehicles is modern, clean and well maintained, with the majority fitted with CCTV to support safety and reassurance for passengers.
Our Team
We employ over 40 dedicated staff including professional bus and coach drivers, a skilled maintenance team and friendly administrative support.
Every member of staff is fully DBS checked, local authority approved and CPC trained, ensuring safety and professionalism in everything we do.
Our Fleet and Standards
We take pride in maintaining high standards of reliability and safety. All vehicles undergo a four-weekly inspection regime and consistently achieve above-average first-time MOT pass rates.
Our workshop team follows all current legislation and includes IRTEC-trained technicians with more than 40 years of combined experience, ensuring our fleet remains efficient, dependable and economical
